HAS IT REALLY GONE??

With a few months away from my graduation,it is really difficult to say how the last three and a half years went by. They say that times flies by and we don't even get to know about it. To whoever the THEY are, this FAST?? It's as if we started this part of our life just a few days back.

The last few years have gone by and have left memories that will be cherished in the years to come. There are a few statements that have become LEGENDARY in their own way. To imagine an ENGINEER, who managed to survive the four year without using any of them is Impossible.

  • "12 the mai COMMERCE le leta " : This one tops the list.I am sure, everybody voiced this statement at least twice a year. The grass is always greener on the other side and with VIVAS and MAJORS every six months, this one has to become everybody's personal favorite.
  • "External aaya hai? " : The only thing that we were concerned about before the Practical Exam. With files STILL not ready and programs on pen drives, the EXTERNAL added troubles to our already miserable lives.
  • "PASS?? " : The first question after coming out of the Examination Hall, followed by a relaxed expression after hearing a NO. After all nobody wants to sail ( or FAIL, for that matter) ALONE..;)
  • " Iss baar shuru se padenge " : LOL. Period.
  • " Bas 3 unit padi hai " : The status fails to improve even an hour before the exam. The best part is that the other NUTCASES,who are in a position no better than ours, try to HELP.
  • "MAGGI MAGGI MAGGI " : A hosteler's savior during his NO GOOD FOOD days in the mess. I mean I could have also used EVERYDAY,but yeah..you got the point..right?? Night before the exam can't be imagined without Maggi and Coffee and then sleeping with your mouth open, when Coffee was supposed to help you sail through the night.
  • "Degree ho jaye kisi tarah" : Our only aim after 4th sem ( for some,a little earlier). Grades don't matter anymore and all we want is our DEGREE after the end of four GLORIOUS years.
I have absolutely no clue about where we land up next, but to all the people who made these four years worthwhile and for having given numerous reasons to celebrate..CHEERS :D

    WHAT IF??

They say LIFE is sacred. They also say that LIFE is a beautiful journey that we must all undertake.Perhaps that is why we take our lives for granted, assuming that everybody is DESTINED to reach the end in a grand manner, often tending to ignore the uncertainties in life.

Have we ever thought, what if we never get the chance to tell our parents that we are thankful to them for all that they have done for us?What if we never get to accomplish all that that we have planned for ourselves? What if we never get to truly love somebody..or what if we never ever get the chance to bid the final farewell??

    What if??

What if tomorrow never really comes??

Even if I tell you to live your life in a manner you have always wanted to,making it fulfilling to say the least-we will not be practical. Our lives are intertwined with those of others and what we do(or don't for that matter) affects those around us.It is difficult to evaluate the purpose of somebody's presence in our lives. It is only when they are not around, that we truly understand that we are complete with the people around us.Our existence is justified with their presence.

Whatever the case be..just let the people around you know that they are special and they mean a lot to you.Because WHAT IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES...:(((

    IT'S THE SAME OLD STORY..

For the last one month,I have been attending a certain class which is supposedly imperative to make my CV look better and no matter how much I try,her lectures live upto their high hypnotic standards.

Forced not to pay attention to her monotonous and sleep inducing voice,I notice the measures people take to sail through the entire class duration...

1.Sleeping with eyes wide open : YES!!!
There are people who can manage this art.Three years of Engineering lectures can teach you a lot of things.

2.Wide use of technology : Thanx to 3G.people now have Internet on the go on their cellphones.Even during a lecture...FACEBOOK ZINDABAD

3.Gaming: Sleep inducing lectures bring out the best in people in terms of coming up with games that help them survive the lecture.Pen fight and stuff of those sorts-these are games of the past.Technology and Vella days have certainly inspired people to take gaming in lectures to a new standard.

4.Chit-Chats : What exactly is required for two people to talk in a lecture??
Nothing but a boring teacher with no intention of taking a break,Last bench,AC......and well,of course GOSSIP;)

5.Hope : People hope that the lecture will end soon and have faith in their potential to survive it.

P.S : No matter how boring and hypnotic the lecture can get, kids on the first two benches can always be seen STUDYING..!!

    LAZY ALL THE WAY

This post is issued in PUBLIC INTEREST and my dedicated readers are hereby advised to exercise the following with caution because no matter how much you love being lazy, you can't expect yourself to escape your parent's brunt if it over exceeds the limits.Being a regular victim of outrage by parents,I have come to the conclusion---

LAZINESS IS A LUXURY THAT ONLY A FEW CAN AFFORD..!!

Being a regular Vella,Laziness is something that has creeped into my system never planning to leave it again. Not that I complain, but regular outbursts are not something that people my age wish to bear with.

Still, you can't escape the advantages of being a LAZY BUM---

    1. SLEEPING-You get to sleep as much as you want to and whenever you want to.One thing common among all the lazy people I fortunately know,is their undying love for SLEEPING(alone or with somebody else is a matter of different importance)..but YaY,one gets to SLEEP a lottttt...!!

2.NO WORK-Given that one is a Lazy BUM and time and again you keep on proving it to your parents and everybody else, they presume that you don't know how to do anything and hence, don't involve you in any household chore. You get to rest on the couch and that is all you want..;)

3.BED MEALS-Nothing gets better than the luxury of having meals on the bed.Being the NO-WORK addict that you are, leaving the bed and going till the dining table for meals is a big deal and can be avoided as and when required.

4.DECENT REASON FOR YOUR EVER GROWING WAISTLINE : Expecting a LAZY BUM to get early in the morning for a WORKOUT would be foolishness and then obviously for the rest of the day,one is BUSY with their own stuff..so I guess that is a decent enough escape..;)

    Oh My GOD...!!
I can't believe that I managed to write all this stuff,so in order to continue with my being LAZY attitude,I'll sign off  for now and bug you later..
Being LAZY is not a SIN...enjoy it..!!

    la La La

I notice that with my last two posts I have not exactly been honest and just, but then I can't help it either.
I have proven time and again that I am a lazy girl and I can't help it.After SEM BREAKS are something that can compel even the laziest of asses to find work. And yes,we are dealing with ME and I fall in the same category and still have no work to do.
Blogging is something which is easy to do-because it allows you to laze on your bed all day long, eat whatever you want to and since its your personal space-you can SAY whatever you feel like saying...
Gosh,I am full of ideas and it's like I don't know how to pour it down here.I am sure something has corroded my brain.God knows what it is...

Hoping to be normal soon..and ohh yea..back in action too...
    EATING TIME...

    :)

It's not that I don't stick by what I feel, but it's just that I barely had an idea what to write and what not to...Since,I am over the initial worry to tackle the stuff to put in here,I shall henceforth commence from now..

A 9 day trip to Kolkatta and Port Blair was enough to rejuvenate me and change my perspective on a lot of things.A trip of many firsts and certainly a trip worth cherishing. The sandy beaches, the clean water and the serene beauty-it was breath taking to say the least.

More on that trip later..because I have something more urgent to do---SLEEPING!!

The warm and cozy bed is something that only a fool can avoid, but then Ignorance is common among fools..so i spare them my wave of fury and just go and doze off...!!
    Twiddlz for now...:)

    BACK!!!

Now this is what exams do to people like me who don't wish to study at any time in the year except when EXAMS are FINALLY around the corner--I say goodbye to all the decent luxuries that exam free days provide and I follow a routine that upsets my mother for months to come..

Years have gone and in the years to come,I am sure I would not part with the exam routine that I follow-have kinda got accustomed to it.It's fun when you make late night coffee n have popcorn with it...having a dance party just before the exam(this might scare the people next door, but yes...it's real fun!!)...the power to console somebody and tell them "that it's gonna b ok-max to max an attempt of 80" when you know that managing even an 80 at that stage would be a great deal....

Exams bring out the best and worst out of a person at the same time.Friends would come and help you in times of need and others would obviously turn their backs upon you...but then yes,it's a part of life and I take it the way it comes..

Exam days are over(TEMPORARILY) and I can make a promise to my so called dedicated readers that I'll start writing AGAIN!

Btw wishing you a very happy and prosperous new decade...
