IT'S TIME TO SAY GOODBYE

I guess it's finally time to say goodbye to my dear phone:(

My Nokia 3110 has finally stopped working. Not that it was an exceptionally good phone but I just loved it more than most of the things that I happen to possess.

The phone had been a true companion these last 2 years in the hostel because without a laptop and an i-pod there isn't much to do in a HARYANA village..Mahn,I loved this phone so much..I don't know where this is going but I am going to miss using the phone. For the non-techie soon to be engineer that I m going in 2 years time, trust me this was one of the most comfortable phones to use...

Mum and Dad say that they would get me a new phone till Thursday..till then I am without my phone and all the decent luxuries it fortunately offers..

My sympathies for all those who are without a phone because now I understand that I just can't stay a second without my phone.I wonder how my parents manage to stay cool about it-I am at a loss for words when I think if they would ever take the pains to search heir mobile if they lost it(for a change it would be nice to tell them to be careful...right??)

Still waiting for a new phone..

Miss you buddy..!!

WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME??

Well,I am about to start my 3rd year in college and on introspection I realize what a drastic change my once sophisticated vocab has gone through after spending the good part of my last two years in a small HARYANA village..

You can have a sneak peek as well...

Thasedi:You can find plenty of them in my college.
Now thasedi is a word used for somebody who has the potential and talent to come up with bad jokes and irritate you to the core.
CAUTION:A thasedi will always live upto his reputation and will never disappoint you..
My sympathies if you happen to know any and all the more sympathies if you happen to know many..!!

Faad:Not exactly an Indian version of fart but the word is used for something awesome-hot chick, cute guys-anything or anybody for that matter..!!

Bhasad:The word bhasad is used when there is some problem..if something is troubling you, unfortunately buddy there is some bhasad..

Pelu:Iss baat mai to mai aapki LELU..
Well,a rather decent alternative to Faad but rarely used for the sentence that always seems to follow it...

Katta:When you have just suffered a loss where you could have actually saved your ass, that is the time when Katta ho gya..

I guess enough for now..more about all this later...But to be frank I somehow can't seem to remember the rest and am sure my friends would be disappointed in me when they will see this lack of brains to keep up with things THIS important to all of us..

ON A MOVIE SPREE

After sem breaks usually end up making you the most Vella person on the planet. So,for a change I am on a movie spree..

I am watching back to back movies-the good ones and the bad ones,I am watching them all(beggars are not choosers...you see)

Except for action and sci-fi flicks I am giving everything a go.You might as well be surprised to see what all I have watched because you might have happened to see all of this ages back but then don't forget you are dealing with one of the laziest people to have landed on this Earth..

So,here is the list...

What Happens In Vegas
Serendipity
Holiday
The Pursuit Of Happyness
Vantage Point
Sleepless In Seattle
Ice Age
Hangover
The Longest Yard
V for Vendetta

God bless the noble souls who will give me a few more movies over the weekend. This is my new past time and I just love it...

By the way if you have any suggestions for me..BRING IT ON...

HANG-OVER

I guess I am still hanging over HANGOVER...What a movie!!

And here are the reasons----

Hanging Over The Story :Ultimate Plot.
A Las Vegas comedy where four friends go for a 24 hour long stag party and on the morning after their arrival in Las Vegas they wake up with the worst hangover-nobody remembering what happened in the past 12 hours or so..The have no idea why their suite is in shambles(and worse what the hell is a baby and tiger doing in the same suite as theirs?!?!) and the icing on their already miserable life is that the groom to be is MISSING...

Hanging Over Zach Galifianakis: Oho! The "funny fat guy"..
Zach Galifianakis as Alan is just awesome.I wish I could talk about all that he does in the movie. He simply seems to be unaware of the social conduct of our world.Spontaneous acting which leaves you mesmerized. If not for anything else, watch the movie for HIM..

Hanging Over The F Word: :D
This is perhaps one of my favorite words these days and when given the luxury of hearing it a little too often than normal,it was more than welcome...

Hanging Over The Creativity:muaahz
It takes brains to think what bars one would cross after being drunk..for instance you can break your teeth after being a dentist or marry a stripper or steal a tiger of all the things in the world and then after all the ordeal FORGET everything!!

What the hell are you waiting for..those of you who have not seen the movie..Go WATCH this one..!!

FAREWELL MJ

For people all around the world he was an Idol,a Hero, even a KING-the King Of POP.But that is not the only reason why his untimely demise has united people to mourn the loss of an idol they loved so much.

I won't say that I grew up listening to Michael Jackson, but his death has surely made me fall in love with his music, his moonwalk and his persona. When he wore the typical MJ attire and did the moonwalk-it was pure MAGIC.Everything about him was so unique and mesmerizing that my wishes and condolences go out for his family and fans all over the world.

But I guess this is also the time to celebrate his life and legacy-to enjoy his music,to dance to the masterpieces he created and to make an effort to imitate the moonwalk!!

Michael Jackson gave this world all he had and in return got the love that he so truly deserved.Despite the anguish of life he was full of passion and we were enchanted by the very same compassion that drove him to make the music that we have fallen in love with.

This is in hope that people don't remember him for the unwanted controversies that surrounded him but for the humanitarian work he did to transcend boundaries, for the magic he created when he was on stage and for being THE Michael Jackson who gave us the Pop music that makes us crazy.

Whether we knew him or we dint,we knew we had him and we miss him..:(

Love ya loaz MICHAEL

Rest In Peace

KAMBAKKHT US

Aki said we will watch the movie..my sis that this one looked good and after being almost 20 minutes late(for reasons that I don't wish to discuss publicly) I was surely not complaining for being late..

What was everybody thinking while coming up with this stuff??

No script,no commendable acting,no music...NO NOTHING!! And all I was wondering was "WHY in the name of Christ am I without my pop corns"- at least I could eat,but no...my senses had stopped working and was just watching the movie predicting every move the actors were going to take..Hindi movies are built on the same lines, there is seldom any change!!

Had awesome company while watching the movie-so THANK YOU guys and hugs for all of you,I could not have watched it without you all!!

People my advice-DON'T watch the movie..please.

Save money and drink BEER...but don't go through the ordeal of watching this one...

CLUELESS

I am a NITWIT..then I am a DUMBHEAD too and on top of that I am a LAZY girl.

This statement was written to state my inability to come up with something to write.

The heat is killing me.I simply don't know what kind of monsoon showers we are having here??(Has the monsoon REALLY ARRIVED??) My brain has stopped working and most of the days I am lost in my world-doing nothing of course!! But that does not make matters any better because my mum expects me to help her with work and to simply put it-I am NOT good at it(perhaps that is why she wants me to do all that stuff..:( and I can't help it either)

My industrial training is not going the way I wanted it to go and all my initial excitement has already run down the drain.Even if the 5 reasons I suggested to go for training to government offices sounded tempting, trust me they are not any more. I want to stay home and do NOTHING.But,that is not possible either:(

Why can't somebody come up with suggestions and tell me what to write here because my brain has practically stopped working..

I'll appreciate suggestions...and somebody please take me out of this..I guess I need a change of surroundings but that can't be helped either..WHY am I in such a mess?!?!?

GETTING NOSTALGIC..

When you take the pains to check your photographs, the outcome is that you come up with a POST-decent or not depends on the ones reading it because the credibility of the writer cannot be challenged!!

Now coming back to the photograph in topic,I took this one while returning back from college and trust me what a day it had been..

We were supposed to have our so called SESSIONALS in that week and a surprise awaited us when we went to give the first exam -there was a STRIKE(that is very common when u happen to study in places like the one where I study..!!) but it was THE strike of the decade...no exams in the entire week, workshop was destroyed, glasses were broken and on the last day we had police intervention and people from media also had things to talk about. My college finally had its "5 minutes to fame" story..Zillions of videos were uploaded that weekend and trust me I am yet to see many of them.(This reminds me to ask my friends to give them to me-I guess they are equally lazy n forgetful, but I fully understand their situation..)

We decided it was time to leave the hostel and start our journey back home but the kind of roads that we had to travel-----ahhhhhhhhhhhhh they seriously are a pain in the ass(both literally and physically).I am sure you would sympathize with us after seeing this photograph..:)

Finally the journey came to an end and I was back home telling everybody about the great week I had because it's not often that God favors you in your exams when you haven't even manged to open your books..!!

WHO WILL MARRY RAKHI???

I guess I had lost it when i thought about drifting away from the WIMBELDON match that Star Sports was telecasting and giving SWAYAMVAR a chance..!!

10 minutes into the show and i knew I had enough to last me a lifetime.

I was shocked when the news about her getting married through a REALITY SHOW came out...She went a little too overboard in taking this decision.

"This (show) is not a publicity stunt or an entertainment show. All I can say is I am honestly looking for a partner with whom I can spend my life and who will love me for what I am," said Rakhi. If this is not supposed to be a publicity stunt I'll be more than glad if somebody could take out his time and explain what the term really means..I means who takes a decision like this??And then there is the option of public voting as well where WE can help her decide the RIGHT MAN for her..

So,on day 1 we had sixteen contestants who were trying to woo her and I am told that they will be
put through a series of challenges to test their personality, character, physical fitness, talent and also their compatibility with Rakhi.

All the very best to all those who are there in the show..

Wishing you all the luck, love, happiness and BRAINS in the world!!
